Best of the Best Seminar

An incredible opportunity to level up your Taekwon-Do skills by training with world renowned coach, Master Thierry Meyour (VIII) and multiple times World and European champion in both patterns and sparring, Sabum Mira Sjövall (IV). 

Master Meyour was Finnish Coach of the year 2023 and is the Chairman of ITF Taekwon-Do Finland technical committee. 

Sabum Sjövall is 4x World Champion, and 6x European Champion. She was voted Finnish athlete of the year 2023 following her double World Championship titles in Patterns and Sparring. 

In addition we are delighted to say we will be joined by Master Lionel Villaret, from WT, a truly outstanding teacher when it comes to kicking. 

Master Villaret is a former member of the french national team, coach of multiple French champions and members of the French National Team, and is currently a member of the development team in the french federation. 

The seminar will offer something for everyone from patterns to sparring. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to train with the best of the best.

You must be 10+ years old to attend, and please wear a full dobok and bring plenty of water.

Saturday: Patterns

10:00- 12:30 All belts (£30)

This session will cover movement, power generation and the sine wave as applied in colour belt patterns. Prepare to be amazed at how much power you can generate after learning the secrets of Master Meyour and Sabum Sjövall.

2:00- 5:00 pm Black belts only (£40) 

This session continues the themes explored in the morning session but moves into further details and black belt patterns and techniques. 

Sunday: Kicking and Sparring

10:00-12:30 Kicking (All belts) £30

If you thought you could kick, wait until you have tried this session. Master Villaret will explore how to maximise your power and speed in a wide variety of kicks, which will take your sparring to the next level. Learn from a true master of the art of kicking. 

2:00-4:30 Sparring (All belts) £30

Master Meyour, Sabum Sjövall and Master Villaret will help guide you in ways to improve your sparring in terms of timing, distance management and ring positioning. This session will be packed with insights into how to improve your sparring no matter what your initial level.
